Hush moves on, quietly

With news that Hush have now ceased trading (they declared bankruptcy on 31st July 2011) it’s with respect that we say goodbye to one of the only other European fan-less PC manufacturers.

Hush, started around the same time as Tranquil, and were brave to promote high quality, fanless systems as we did.  In those early days VIA based systems ruled our collective market, whereas now Intel have clearly marked out a road map supporting various mini-itx main boards, some with long life cycles.

Although we’re not sure of what went wrong for Hush, we wish any of the fallout to be minimal for the employees or their customers.

Many OEMs have already approached Tranquil to assist in the continuation of their ‘bespoke’ products – and we’re happy to help.  Our new Monocoque line is very appealing.

So – it’s goodbye to Hush.
