Project Leo – journal of Leo


Leo is a new business class server, optimised for Windows ‘Aurora’ and a number of other technologies for 2011


Planned for release in Q1 2011, Leo is a compact multi-drive server, with a number of unique characteristics – on the plan are :

  • Powered by Intel 2nd Generation i3 XEON CPU
  • CPU cooled without fans
  • Support for ECC Memory
  • 6x 3.5” SATA swappable HDD bays
  • HDDs cooled by Tranquil GT (Patent pending) technology
    Resulting in near zero noise and low operating temperatures
  • Compact all alloy cabinet (170mm wide x 250mm deep x 270mm high)
  • Internal, high efficiency AC/DC + DC/DC supplies (using ZVS) resulting in 92-94% efficiencies
